Ok Lucky me. I live .25 miles away. I can walk there and it is wonderful but it is about to get more wonderful. Over the course of this year, the fabulous farmstand will be transformed to bring us more of our faborite homegrown flowers and vegetables, the corn is the best "in the world," along with some exciting new additions:

Here at Volante Farms we not only believe in sustainable agriculture, but practice it every day. Since 1917, when we opened in Newton, MA, we have explored new and exciting growing options. We feel like we have a great system in place, balancing both conventional and more modern methods. We do not believe it is realistic or possible to disregard 100 years of science and still feed the world's ever-expanding population. We have developed a highly educated and limited use of pesticides which not only enables a wide variety of crops to be grown successfully, but more importantly with a high degree of safety. Using these methods we can provide you with an amazing variety of fresh fruits and vegetables throughout the season.
