NEW PARKING INFORMATION

May 21 & May 22

THE BATTLE FOR NEEDHAM

Due to unfavorable ground conditions at the Nike site, parking for The Battle for Needham will be at the Newman School on Central Avenue, Needham.  Suttle buses willtake visitors from the parking lot to Ridge Hill and back.

No parking will allowed on Charles River Street or Pine Street.  ONLY Handicapped parking is available at Ridge Hill.  For directions and schedule see the  website www.needhamhistory.org

The Revolutionary War weekend event ~ "This didn't really happen - but it could have!" ~ so enjoy the show from the midst of the action!. 

Historic fact is being used to set the stage for what will happen in Needham. The time period chosen is the spring of 1778 and everything that will occur over the weekend is based on (1) what the actual situation was at that time, and (2)on something that very well could have occurred. See the Scenario for the historic background to this event.
