Vicki Needham is Quoting National Association of Realtors.

Purchases of previously owned homes — which include single-family, town homes, condominiums and co-ops — increased 2.7 percent to 5.36 million in January from a downwardly revised 5.22 million in December, the National Association of Realtors said Wednesday.

I love seeing the word increased  when referring to real estate.  I lvoe hearing that not just single-family home but town homes, condos, and co-ops sales are up.

What I always hear on the news is that new home sales down.  Well new homes or young homes are selling around these here parts.

We have had a month delay on the spring market due to all the snow, ice dams, snow banks, inability to park, and just plain rotten weather here and so many other places in the United States.  I think the real estate market it is coming along here in the Needham, Wellesley, Dover area.  I am seeing some signs.

Rates are down, still down and we can celebrate that.  We are making a turn.
