Saturday evening Performance at 7:30pm
the Needham High School auditorium
Take a voyage from the founding of Needham to the modern day on Saturday at a play commissioned especially in honor of Needham 300 and written by playwrights David Simon and Jay DiPrima and performed in the high school auditorium by Needham High School students. Premiere lights will rake the sky over Needham High School as local dignitaries and invited guests witness the first ever production of the play which will later be taken on the road to all the schools in town.

The next afternoon, Sunday, again in the Needham High School auditorium, students will perform “Song of Solomon”, another original work commissioned for Needham 300 by composer Darin Lewis. The musical motif is framed around Needham’s 1711 founding and will be performed by the NHS chorus and orchestra.
